The webinar on “Safe guard in Sports”, organized by the Hellenic Equestrian Federation, was successfully held on Monday, September 22, 2025.

A total of 76 members of the equestrian community participated in the webinar, including club representatives, coaches, and sport officials, confirming the growing interest in child protection and the creation of a safe and inclusive environment in sports.

The speakers of the event were Ms. Maria Tsangari, Psychologist, and Ms. Fotini Karamanlaki, Head of the Committee for Sportsmanship, Ethics & Integrity of the Hellenic Olympic Committee. The discussion was moderated by Mr. George Dimaras, Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Equestrian Federation and Head of Sports Integrity.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about the institutional framework, prevention principles, and tools that strengthen child protection in sports.

The Hellenic Equestrian Federation warmly thanks the speakers for their contribution and all participants for their active involvement. As part of its ongoing commitment to the education and development of the equestrian community, the Federation will continue in the coming period with the organization of additional thematic seminars focusing on key issues related to sports and the well-being of its members.
