HOC by the Side of the Sports Federations

With the participation of 29 federations, including the Hellenic Equestrian Federation (HEF), the conference titled “The HOC by the Side of the Sports Federations” was held yesterday at the amphitheater of the Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC).

During the conference, important issues were discussed regarding the operation and support of the Olympic sport federations, focusing on the challenges and difficulties they face, the use and management of sports facilities for athletes’ preparation, financial support matters, and the Olympic Regions program.

The President of the Hellenic Equestrian Federation, Mr. Karakasilis, referred to the problems faced by the sport of equestrianism, highlighting the lack of funding, the situation of the Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Center, and the closure of the veterinary clinic in Markopoulo.

It was a very constructive and productive conference, for which the President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee and First Vice President of HEF, Mr. Isidoros Kouvelos, received congratulations.
