Triumph for Touloupis at the Athens M Grand Prix!

Today, the second day of the Athens Equestrian Festival 2022 at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo ended with a triumph for Greece.

A while ago, Angelos Touloupis together with Lord Mexx managed to win again and with unique clear rounds they won the Grand Prix of 1.40 - 1.60m. of the Athens CSIO3 * -W of the Longines EEF Series. "I'm very happy for my horse, Lord Mexx. He was amazing! "I dedicate this victory to Blue Balou, my horse that I lost a while ago," said the big winner of the Athens Grand Prix, Angelos Touloupis.

In the 1st round of the Grand Prix, six athletes did their best and went to the jumpf off, where Angelos Touloupis was the fastest and with a time of 38.06 he won. Yiannis Skandalis with Ego di Villagana took 4th place with 4 penalties, and Katerina Laskaridi with Concordi was in 6th place with 8 penalties. In 2nd and 3rd place were two Italians, Matteo Checchi with Quiller and Omar Bonomelli with Chippendel de la Tour with also 0 points and time respectively 38.77 and 40.82.

There were success for three more Greek athletes in the third today's class of 1.20m.. Dimitris Natsis with Dewars was in 1st place with 0 points and a time of 30.42, George Meimaridis with Carpe Diem was in 2nd place with 0 points and a time of 31.05 and Giannis Christodoulopoulos with Princess Diana Capitol in 3rd place with 0 points and a time of 32.31.

In the first class of the second day of AEF 2022 height 135m the 1st place was won by the Italian Bruno Chimirri with Lady Casall de la Verdina with the fastest clear round in a time of 62.97. In 2nd was the Italian Francois Spinelli with Clarkson 4 with 0 points and time 63.11 and in 3rd place the Bulgarian Ivaylo Bonev with Othello van de Vlasboemhove with 0 points and time 66.26.

In the second today's class of 1.10m height. Leonidas Palegdas took the 3rd place for Greece with Chouchen du Tertre with 0 points and a time of 68.33. In 1st place was the Turkish Nehir Tuncel with the Afra 162 with the fastest clear round in a time of 63.01. Second was also Turkish Ahmet Güner Erturgut with Vladimir Klichko with 0 points and time 67.59.

In the children's class, the 1st place was taken by Vasiliki Baliousi with Hermieque with 0 points and a time of 68.16.

On Sunday, June 5, last day of the AEF 2022, just before the start of the Nations Cup Team Class with the participation of the Greek team, of course, at 15.00, the Playmobil Marla and Del, but also the beautiful miniature horses Gentle Caroussel will be waiting for the little ones at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo.
