Great performance for Touloupis in Warsaw and the continuous rise of Greek athletes in the world rankings

Angelos Touloupis and Lord Mexx recorded a new great performance.

Last Friday, 9/9, following an invitation secured by the Hellenic Equestrian Federation for the CSIO4* in Warsaw, Poland, which was also the Final of the 2022 Longines EEF Series, Angelos and Lord performed an amazing 1.55m Grand Prix double clear round and with a time of 42.02 they took the 6th place out of a total of 50 riders . 

Angelos remains for August 2022 the Greek athlete with the highest position in the Longines Ranking at No. 121 with 1315 points, while after his success in Warsaw he is expected to rise further in the ranking that will be published for September 2022.

Also, after Ioli Mytileneou's impressive performances and historic 19th place at the recent World Jumping Championships in August in Herning, Denmark, the Greek amazon, who is established among the world's top riders, has moved up 23 places and is now at No 133 of the Longines Ranking with 1260 points and is expected to rise further in the coming months.

In the same ranking of August 2022, in the first 1000 athletes are two more Greek athletes, who scored successes this summer. More specifically, Kriton Zafeiropoulos is at No. 890 in the ranking with 175 points and Yiannis Skandalis at No. 909 with 173 points.

The continuous rise in the world ranking of the Greek athletes is a great success and recognition and at the same time it is a confirmation of the planning of the HEF and its Pre-Olympic Preparation Program with Technical Advisor Antonis Petris and the support always from the HOC.
