In Baicoi, Romania, the Balkan Dressage Championship will be held this week, from Friday, September 16 to Sunday, September 18.

Greece will take part with 12 athletes in the three categories of Children, Juniors and Seniors, namely:

This year's Champion Danai Yiannopoulou with White Man, Karolina Atsalaki with Spoekedammetje Nikos, Korina Meimari with Hidde fan E Coulissenhoeve and Malvina Nicolaidis with Gjis will compete in the Team Competition of the Children's Category. Athena Bikaki with Eldi will also take part in the Individual, while in the Childrens's Class a total of 5 Balkan countries will participate with 17 riders and horses.

This year's Champion Isabella Atchalaki with Desteny, Alexandros Katsikis with Barthez 4, Ilenia Oikonomou with King Black and Christina Retsou with Elise will participate in the Junior Category Team Competition. Zoi Tertipi with Capuccino and Petros Ramsis Rotas Gereis with Marvel 7 will also participate in the Individual event. A total of 6 Balkan countries with 21 athletes and horses will compete in the Category.

Christina Sachinoglou with Damor will take part in the Senior Category, while a total of 5 Balkan countries with 19 riders and horses will take part in the Category.

The horse inspection is scheduled for Thursday, September 15, while the program begins on Friday, September 16. The Team Chef d'Equipe is the member of the Board and President of the Dressage Committee, Mr. Nikos Hartzis.
