The Balkan Dressage Championship in Tsaratsovo, Bulgaria!

This weekend, 12–14 September, the Balkan Dressage Championship will take place at the Frigopan Equestrian Center in Tsaratsovo, Bulgaria.

Greece will participate with 19 athletes in the four categories: Children, Juniors, Young Riders, and Seniors, specifically:

In the Children’s Category, eight riders will compete: this year’s Champion Chara Gioukaki with Maximus, Phaedra Kritikou with Guidany, Angeliki Katsouli with Ninniefeh, Zoi Chartzi with Doc Doce, Nasia Gialitaki with Rubinstar 17, Anna Kotsyfi with Esme, Anna Maria Domna with Blondie, and Konstantina Chatziapostolou with Donatella.

In the Juniors Category, participants are this year’s Champion Danae Giannopoulou with Barcelona, Athina Bikaki with Zoie, Danae Papapolyzou with San Francetto, and Petros Ramsis Rotas Gereis with Kivi.

In the Young Riders Category, two riders will compete: Eleni Barbati with Formentera and Maria Tsiriggaki with Storm Ranger.

In the Seniors Category, five athletes will participate: this year’s Champion Christina Sachinoglou with Marilyn Monroe, Eleni Myrat with Veronica, Maria Eleni Tourkomani with Seine Tosca, Pinelopi Perdikari with Koko Litchy, and Amilia Anetopoulou with Fresco.

The veterinary inspection of the horses is scheduled for Thursday, 12 September, while the Team Chef will be the General Secretary of the Hellenic Equestrian Federation, Mr. Nikos Chartzis.
