The «Athens Equestrian Festival» starts tomorrow at Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Center

The international jumping competitions return to Greece and the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo after 6 years with the Athens Equestrian Festival 2018 tomorrow. The first Athens CSI1 * will be held on 1, 2 and 3 June 2009 on the Olympic sand arena.

7 countries with 95 horses and 130 horses will take part, and this afternoon at 16.00 the horses will pass the veterinary check. In particular, the countries that will take part except Greece are Cyprus, Austria, Panama, Romania, Serbia and Sweden, and in addition to the seniors events, there will also be competitions for children and young horses.

Tomorrow the competitions will start at 9.00 and include five events, with the last and highest, the 1.35m big tour. starting at 18.00. The events that will be broadcasted via live streaming at http://live.hef.gr/live_streaming.php are in detail:

Friday 1/6 Competition 4th Medium Tour height 1.20m. at 15.00 & Competition 5th Big Tour height 1.35m. at 18.00
Saturday 2/6 Competition 9th Medium Tour height 1.25m. at 15.00 and Event 10th Big Tour height 1.35m. at 18.00
On Sunday all events from 10.00 am until the Grand Prix at 17.00.

Everyone who visits the Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Center will have the opportunity not only to get to know the wonderful and spectacular sport of riding, riders and horses, but also to have fun with the many parallel events that will take place in the context of the Games. This weekend, June 2 & 3 will operate a special infant farm with rare animals, and there will be children's walking horses.
