With the most important class of he Athens CSI*, the Jockey Club of Greece Grand Prix at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo was completed on Sunday night the first week of the Athens Equestrian Festival.
Winner after a jump off between four athletes was the Romanian Damian Cojocariu with Elyk having the fastest ride in the barrage in time 45.09. In the 2nd and 3rd place the first two Junior Champions 2018, the 2nd Champion Antonis Antoniou with Inca with 0 points and time 48.34 and the Champion of the category, Anna Danalis with Mr. Chayotte with 0 points and time 50.87 .
In the 1.30m class. winner was Aggelos Toulopis with Zhin Chin with the best time of 45.80 and a perfect clear roungs. In 2nd place was Giorgos Meimarides with Larimar in time 47.81 and in 3rd place the Romanian Luca Ruxandariu with Cadira in time 48.63.
In the young horses class after a jump off between three athletes Marianna Marinopoulou with the 6-year-old Celebrity with 4 points and the best time 34,38 was in 1st place. In 2nd place with 4 points and time 42.87 was Romanian Luca Ruxandariu with 7-year Genleman of Morka and in 3rd place Tasos Raissis with 6-year-old Hey Man with 8 points in the jump off.
In the first class of children, 1st place was won by Maria Eleni Vafideadis with the Nilda Rouge from Cyprus with the unique clear rouns. In 2nd place was Sotiris Antonopoulos with By Chance with 4 points and 74.49 and in 3rd place Anny Vadidis with C Anton H with 4 points and 77.74.
The Athens Equestrian Festival continues on the 7th of June to 10th with the Athens CSIO2*-W at the Olympic grass arena in Markopoulo.
