Victories for Greece at the premiere of the Athens CSIO2*-W 2018

With victories for Greece, the Athens CSIO2 * -W of the Athens-Equestrian Festival 2018 was launched and completed today at the fully rebuilt Olympic grass arena at the Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Center.

In the last and highest class of the day winner with the best time of 37.92 was Dimitris Natsis with Calista de la Hart. In 2nd place Ukrainian Mykhallo Pilipenko with Chacco Cento with 0 points and time 41.00 and in 3rd place Bulgarian Angel Nyagolov with Chacentan with 0 points and time 41.41.

In the first class of the day, young horses, the first victory for Greece was achieved by Angelos Toulopis with Lola with a double clear round in time of 32,14. In 2nd place was the Italian Guido Grimaldi with Ginus with double clear round and time 35.84 and in the 3rd position Bulgarian Plamen Radoslavov with Cassai with 0 points and time 37.40.

In 1.35m class in 2nd place after a jump off between 4 athletes was Maria Papourdanou with Unique des Rhodes with a perfect clear round and time 53,56. In 1st place was Ukrainian Konstantin Zolin with Valmy with 0 points and the best time 48,47 and in 3rd place Romanian Damian Cojocariu with Cristalla with 4 points.

In class 1.25m Dimitris Natsis won the third place with Clear the Way with a perfect clear round and time 71.81. The winner was Italian Filippo di Cigala with Deja Vu with the fastest clear round in 68.92 and in 2nd place Romanian Zontal Antal with Szilaj with 0 points and time 70.88.

All 13 classes of the event are being broadcasted live on http://live.hef.gr/live_streaming.php, while the most important events, Grand Prix on Friday at 17.00 and the Nations Cup, on Sunday at 17.00 will be broadcasted from the digital platform of the FEI, FEI TV.
