PENA New Year's Pie Cut

AtThymeli Estate in Rethymnon on Sunday, February 16th was successfuly held the event for the cutting of the New Year's Pie by the Regional Committee of Crete of the Hellenic Equestrian Federation.

Mrs Eva Simeakis, spokesman for the Deputy Minister of Sport, Mr. Avgenakis, Mr George Marinakis, Mayor of Rethymnon, representatives of Municipalities, the Region, Municipal Councilors etc. honoured the event with their presence.

The event was presented by Mr. S. Panagakis, who read the greeting of Mr. Kouvelos, President of HEF, while the President of PENA and member of the Board of HEF, Mr. Gounaras also spoke to the public present.

During the event, PENA honored the athletes and clubs of Crete who starred in the past year and also honored all its sponsors.

Mr. Konstantinos Dandoulakis, Vice-President of the Regional Council - representative of the Crete IP together with the athletes of Crete.

A celebration followed with live Cretan music.
