Koutsafti at the Al Ula Fursan Cup in Saudi Arabia!

For the third consecutive year, Effi Koutsafti has successfully completed one of the most demanding international Endurance Riding competitions in the world.

The event was the international endurance race Al Fursan Endurance Al Ula, CEI2*, held in Saudi Arabia. The competition took place in the desert of Al Ula on Saturday, 7 February.

The Greek rider successfully completed the 120 km race together with her horse, Fioru Delakin, earning her place among the elite athletes of the CEI2* category.

“I have joined the elite riders of endurance riding. I am very happy; it is a great honor for me and for Greece,” Effi Koutsafti stated.

This was the fourth time the Greek rider took part in this competition.

This year’s event, the seventh edition of the Al Ula race, recorded a new participation record, with 200 athletes from 71 countries represented. The race provided a prime opportunity for riders and horses to train at the venue that will host the World Endurance Championship for the first time next November.
