Great success for the Driving Cup!

A great success was the Driving Cup, which was completed yesterday at the Olympic Equestrian Center in Markopoulo and despite the difficult weather conditions that prevailed in the first two days.

The athletes and organisers were satisfied by the marathon that took place on Saturday for the first time in Greece.

The great protagonists once again were father and son Alexandros and Tasos Zambouris in the two classes, with one and two horses, respectively.

At the class woth one horse, Tasos Zambouris of IOKIL with his horse Floris had less points in the three events, dressage, marathon and cones, 161.42 in total and he was claimed the Cup Winner. In 2nd place was Johanna Van der Slikke of IOROD with Mueler with a total of 166.5 points and in 3rd place also from Rhodes Elina Pilataki with Rudolf with 198.62 points.

In the class with two horses, Alexandros Zambouris of IOKIL with Rigo & Dollar became another year's Cup winner, also gaining fewer points in his three events, 185,53. In 2nd place was Elias Aspiotis of KAI with Furioso and Gamma with 257.8 points and in 3rd place Georgios Manginas with Paris & Kartyas with 284.74 points.
